Update!

So quite a bit has happened since my last update..

The skirtings have been completed & doors put on..

Master bedroom and doors

-Living area

-Dining room 

Kitchen benchtops installed

-Pantry!

Ensuite bathroom and laundry..

We've picked out our new furniture because we took a trip to ikea! So excited to buy it all..

It turns out our trough did get stolen..

 

We had a walk through this week and the painters were there prepping everything & they're pretty much done! I think they have like one more coat left! & I asked our SS if we would be in before I start uni(march 2nd) & he said we would be sick of our house by then.. He's planning to only take a week off then he will be going past the house every second day to keep an eye on it & make sure nothing else gets stolen..

The painters also painted the porch and the outdoor room beams.. Can't wait to see the garage door on, it's the same as the painted colour & fascia..

So here's some painting pics

I talked to the SS about a space I found in our plans, I asked if it was a load bearing wall and he said it wasn't, so later on down the track I'm going to knock it down and make the laundry cupboard bigger! Yay! 

So next that will start is the tiling, which when we had our walk through the showers had all been mapped out etc..

So they should start next week or the week after.. Then that will be it, the house will be finished for over xmas break..

Then the only things left are all the fittings 

-robe doors

-shelving and rails

-mirrors, shower screens

-bath and toilets

-taps, door handles

-timber laminate floor and carpet

& I think that's it.. Then we'll have PCI and then we will get all of our appliances & keys! Seriously feels like there isn't much left! I think there's only 2 weeks work once they come back from break, so if there wasn't xmas we would be in this year..

So that's it for now, next update will probably be tiles :)

Not much to update..

Not much progress has happened this week..

The electrician came and did the cutouts for the points, switches and lights..

-theatre room

-family & kitchen

-family

Our bricks got washed

- comparison, porch or front hadn't been washed yet..

- our trough came too but it wasn't there today and they didn't install it, so dunno what's happened to that.. 

Our skirtings arrived and so did either the internal doors or the sliding doors to the robes, I'm not quite sure what they are 

Slack

I feel like we've been slack with updating, but it's just because so much happens every day! Except from now on.. We won't be able to see the internal progress as much 😟

So site clean up next week, thank goodness! It looks a mess out the front..

& our floor & door skirtings a will arrive early next week.. Then we just need the electrician in to fit all the switches and powerpoints, paint prep then painting! All should happen in the next 3 weeks!! 

We've been told everything up to and including tiling will be done by xmas, and a rough completion date - MIDDLE OF FEB! 😆
